Previously available only to large organizations with an extensive education and training budget, the acclaimed SOAR Leadership Development program has now been made accessible for small organizations and motivated, high-performing individuals with limited training funds, who are looking to accelerate their professional development and create break-through results at work with limited training funds.
SOAR Leading for Growth is now offered as open-enrollment programs twice a year at a state-of-the art training facility conveniently located in McLean, VA and is also available as customizable in-house programs.
The SOAR Leading for Growth Program is a customizable, multi-session, group-based leadership development program that dramatically improves conversational, relational, and emotional competencies resulting in high performance, breakthrough results, and improved talent retention.
Based on key principles from the book Language and the Pursuit of Leadership Excellence: How Extraordinary Leaders Build Relationships, Shape Culture and Drive Breakthrough Results co-authored by Chalmers Brothers and Vinay Kumar, the original SOAR Program incorporates proven adult learning and development techniques in 4-8 modules over a period of 5-9 months for intense learning, immediate application, and measurable results.
The SOAR Leading for Growth Program is offered to individuals sponsored by their employer or self-funded participants as a 4-module program that spans 4 months. It is designed to provide practical tools for effective communication with the objective of creating a culture of commitment, accountability, collaboration, and innovation that can be applied immediately.

SOAR Leading for Results Program

I have attended a large number of different leadership and communication programs over the years. The SOAR program was one of the best development programs I have ever attended. My leadership perspective has changed profoundly. I use the SOAR tools almost every day at work and in my personal life and it was made a noticeable difference in my effectiveness and ability to motivate my team. Friderike is a truly gifted facilitator and trainer. Her on-the-spot coaching skills gave the group many opportunities for deep discussions at a level of honesty and vulnerability that I have not witnessed in other professional groups before. The peer learning was one of my favorite part of the SOAR experience and the relationships that have formed between my accountability group members are truly special and inspiring.
The incremental learning and experiential approach of SOAR was ideal for me to internalize the material and to put it to immediate use. The communication with my staff and with other department heads is much more productive and I feel much more confident and competent in my new leadership role. I now able to see breakdowns as opportunities to strengthen relationships and improve processes and that has had an enormous impact on my effectiveness as a team leader and in my interactions with other departments.
