Holistic Personality Inventory using the Professional Strengths, Values & Story Survey
1:00PM – 4:30PM The Insight Shop, 114 Courthouse Road SW Vienna, VA 22180
Do you know who you are at the core of the story of your life? Do you know when you are at your absolute best and how can you intentionally create purposeful experiences for yourself? How can you let others know, see and appreciate the best parts of you? Can you see and hear the best parts of others that are not at all like you?
This workshop provides a holistic way of looking at who we are by measuring and exploring how much we identify with the attitudes and behaviors of 12 mythical or archetypal characters. The researched and field-tested framework was created by the sage Dr. Carol S. Pearson and further expanded by story brand creator Cindy Atlee. Their detailed exploration of story characters can help you understand what motivates you most in your personal and professional life, and how your strengths and values add up to a “story type” that personifies your personal and professional sweet spot.
Participants will take the Strengths, Values and Story Survey prior to the workshop to identify the archetype character that likely plays a lead role in their lives. During the workshop, we will explore all 12 archetype characters, who each represent different ways of thinking and acting in the world. Each character has its own unique set of talents, qualities and motivators. The characters we relate to most give us significant clues about our own strengths and values, the passion and purpose that stirs us deeply, and the great meaning we desire to find in our life.
By recognizing story types in others, you will also be able to better relate to the best that others have to offer.
